CHEMICAL FUME HOOD

Our high-quality Chemical Fume Hood is highly recommended for exhaust of toxic gases, chemical vapors, odor removal, acidic fumes etc. from the hood working area. They are very helpful for product and personal protection together with cutting down odor levels in laboratories and saving expensive lab equipment. It’s fitted with a complete exhaust motor blower assembly that can produce negative pressure inside the hood to help in the removal of all contaminants from the works area and taking them into the atmosphere.

Features

Our high-quality fume hoods are suitable to work as a semi-closed ventilated enclosures to save users from harmful and toxic fumes and vapors. They are also created to eliminate the possibility of accidental fire which often takes place due to the emission of inflammable gases during experiments. This shows how the construction materials of our fume woods are selected between industrial grade fire resistant commercial wooden boards ( having laminated sheets and lined with epoxy coating ) or corrosion resistant steel sheets ( having epoxy coating from inside and painted with charming stove enamel drying spray paint..

The work table of our fume hoods is constructed of heavy gauge construction material having acid proof glazed tiles/ stainless steel grade ss-304 while the work bench has a small sink of stainless steel grade ss-304. Plus, all our fume hoods come equipped with sliding sash of special grade shatter proof glass.

Our units, offering minimum illumination level of about 800 lux on the work table, are fitted with extremely diligent heavy duty exhaust system, of dynamically balanced centrifugal impeller and having high speed motor of about 1440 RPM, controlled by DOL starter.

Air Velocity
– Users can expect the fume hood to maintain an optimum face velocity of 80 feet – 100 feet/ minute giving an accuracy of + 10 feet/minute with the sash in complete open position

Volume of Exhaust
– They are created to maintaining a constant exhaust volume. You can expect the maximum variation permissible (owing to baffle adjustment) in our in- house test procedure to be just 6% of the volume of exhaust.

Testing Procedures of Containment
– They match to the performance test (laid down by the ASRAE-110-1995 British Standards) of testing performance of chemical hoods.

Pressure (Static)
They can minimize the loss of static pressure at a specified baffle opening position. The average loss of static pressure at any specified 4 points at 90° angle and 3 duct dia from the fume hood won’t exceed 75 feet per minute at 0.25 inch, giving 100 feet per minute full sash opening and face velocity.

Noise/Sound Levels
They generate lower noise levels and their performance are better than the industry standards of 60 db, at about 15 cm distance from the sash.

Illumination Levels at work Space
They make sure that a minimum of 800 lux light is present there on the work table through the diffuser fluorescent light arrangement.

Exhaust Assembly
They are supplied with a very strong and high-end exhaust system with a range of 500 – 1250 CFM. The exhaust assembly has centrifugal impellers which are tied with a heavy duty three phase motor.

Exhaust Ducting
They are offered with right FRP ducting of needed dimension as per the individual requirements of the user.
