The chamber comes fitted with a low profile, side mounted lighting system that ensures complete utilization of the chamber interior and full access to the sliding shelves for better results. The chamber blends together state-of-the-art technology with a highly efficient design to ensure a dependable solution to the insect rearing issues and other entomological research studies.

The chamber is fit to not only study but also store Drosophila, bees, mosquitoes and other types of insects under a manageable and controllable environment. The tool is supplied with illuminated shelves and customized growth areas, and lets users to choose additional shelves which can be fitted in the chamber. The illuminated shelves, which get fitted with high frequency lighting, can minimize the effects of stroboscopic stress on insects.

CONSTRUCTION

The illuminated shelves, which get fitted with high frequency lighting, can minimize the effects of stroboscopic stress on insects.

Further, the chamber doors are also insulated with glass wool that is filled between its inner and outer surface. The use of double walled door with a gasket is done to seal the inner chamber from outside air. Due to the use of glass window, it’s possible to do inspection of samples without upsetting the chamber temperature. Plus, you can expect 3 or 4 Stainless Steel adjustable shelves to be supplied with the chamber. The tool is also provided with air ventilation and systems to introduce fresh air supply.
