POLYPROPYLENE FUME HOOD

Features

We offer a range of Polypropylene Fume Hoods that are made from all white stress-relieved, acid resistant, non-corrosive polypropylene. Made to work with harsh corrosive acids, these hoods are there to be used as conventional total exhaust hoods offering only operator protection, and providing both operator and product protection. They are made of polypropylene and come with the Zero Leak Airflow System, which stops uneven particulate loading by removing direct blasts to the HEPA filter and thus dispensing air over 100% of the surface.

CONSTRUCTION

They are created in a way to work as semi closed ventilated enclosures to save the user from harmful and toxic fumes and vapors. They are also helpful in stopping the possibility of accidental fire due to the emission of inflammable gases during experiments. The materials of constructed is chosen with care and they range between industrial grade fire resistant commercial wooden boards or corrosion resistant steel sheets.

While the work table is constructed of heavy gauge construction material laced with acid proof glazed tiles, the work bench is supplied with a small sink of stainless steel grade ss-304. Further, the fume hoods are supplied with sliding sash of special grade shatter proof glass duly framed.

Our hoods are made to deliver minimum illumination level of about 800 lux on the work table and the unit is fitted with heavy duty exhaust system having centrifugal impeller with high speed motor of about 1440 RPM.

CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES

Air Velocity
The hoods deliver the optimum face velocity of 80 feet – 100 feet / minute with an accuracy of + 10 feet/minute and having the sash in complete open position.

Volume Of Exhaust
Made in a way to maintain a constant exhaust volume. The maximum variation permissible ( owing to baffle adjustment ) is 6% of the given volume of exhaust.

Testing Procedure Of Containment
Made to meet the set performance test of chemical hoods and having an AM rating of 0.05 ppm/4 LPM at fully opened sash.

Pressure (static)
Able to minimize the loss of static pressure for a specified baffle opening position.

Noise/Sound Level
Can generate lower noise levels and their performance of are superior to the industry standards of 60 db, at about 15 cm distance from the sash.

Illumination Level At Work Place
Deliver a minimum of 800 lux light on the work table through the diffuser fluorescent light arrangement.

Exhaust Assembly
Comes fitted with a very strong and high end exhaust system delivering a range of 500 – 1250 CFM .
